I think what happened is we all adopted each other.

I was confident about this season.

On paper, everybody says that we don't have a shot, but there's a reason we wrestle these matches. I always tell my kids, if you catch somebody (out of good position), you never know what can happen. They want to go to Hershey really bad, and we're going to give it our best shot.

At first, it was a distraction, but it's become so routine that they are used to it. We stack the tables up along the windows to make it as private as possible.

To compete outside the City is very difficult. We have some weight classes that are pretty far behind on technique.

I wanted to give my team the experience that comes with wrestling kids they haven't seen before. They are behind on technique, and we need as many matches as possible.

They all bought into the system I implemented and have worked really hard during the off-season. They pick up the skills quicker each year, and I'm able to cover more things. I don't have many kids who miss practice.

We learned a lot of things from watching Canon-McMillan, such as our body positioning and laying on top. You see how much experience they have on the mat. We are still teaching basic technique and body awareness.

Wrestling in the city league is improving. Our kids are dedicated to the sport and we are seeing better wrestlers emerging from the City League.

We need the middle school to be the feeder system. That will make the program better. We're looking forward to them coming to Langley.

I really feel Clear Springs has a great opportunity for growth and I want to be part of it. Plus, being able to stay in the Magic Valley where we really like to live ... is really important as well.

I just really believe in being involved in the community and Clear Springs does as well. We think it's our responsibility to do so, to take an active role. It takes a lot of time, but it's worth it.

Instead of having a forest of dead pine trees, we're going to have a forest of very healthy trees that will last well beyond our lifetimes.

With his corporate finance knowledge, as well as his global treasury experience, we are confident Steve will be a great leader for our team.

No sense getting upset about it. Getting upset isn't going to change it.
