en I had a dream to become a professional player that could not be realized in Cuba. I don't have a doubt in my mind that I made the right decision.

en I wanted to go outside Cuba and really take that challenge of seeing if I was a professional player and had qualities that are worthy of a professional league. I was going through a very hard time at that moment. The Sounders did all they could ... and that pumped me up.

en He's a great ambassador for the National Football League in terms of how to be a professional, both on and off the field. The guy, without a doubt in my mind, is a Hall of Fame player.

en Non-professionally, Cuba is one of the best teams in the world. Everyone hears about what a great reputation the Cuban ball club has. A lot of people want to see Cuba measure up against a professional team so that's going to draw a lot of attention. In Puerto Rico everybody is looking forward to the game against Cuba.
