It's cool. You get a lot of people you don't usually see together. We're excited to see how it's going to play out.

Our fans were tremendous last season. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual. They were so supportive and such a big part of our success at home. I think that will be the case again this year. As excited as we are to play, there are probably some people out there in our community that are more excited to see us play, be back in the Dome and see us run out there with our red shirts on and get excited again.

Too many people come to us and think they're going to play a nice, easy game on offense. For a month, we've been doing that. It started with me. We got into that attitude that everything was cool and it's not cool.

Everyone wants to go see that Oct. 5 game (against Carolina) to raise the banner. It's pretty cool to see how (excited) the city's been, even though we had a year off last year, people are just as excited or even more.

Anytime that Mark, Tracy and I get a chance to play together, we're really excited about that. I think it's going to be really cool.

The easiest way to make something cool is to get cool people to do it. Part of this might mean the president has to forget tensions with opponents, or people like Arnold Schwarzenegger who has actually been decent with oil issues. Maybe he needs to pull some of the cool people in and make them model the right behaviors.

other than that, everyone is cool. People take it for what it's worth. We're having fun, we're trying to win. Whatever it takes to win. The people in the locker room get excited.

Cool is not just one type of cool. Cool is confidence and knowing, I guess, what you are and being fine with it. Some people can be what people call 'nerds' and they're cool because they know they're nerds. They know what they are and they're so confident in knowing what they are that that makes them cool, and somebody aspires to be like them, because they're fine with it. It's confidence, you know.

I'm just excited to see all the new people that have come out here to play ball. It's nice to see all the happy faces of the people excited about what we did for the league.

I'm real excited about it. It's a great honor. There's some pretty good players on (the roster). It's pretty cool to play with some of those guys.

Just the other day, I got my first tax form, ... I was excited about that. I know it's not something you should be excited about, but it's pretty cool for me.

That wasn't too bad for a car that was just a little off, ... We had a setback in practice the other day and that got us off a little, but the guys rebounded really well. We had an alternator belt come off early and that meant we had to switch off all the brake fans, the ones that blow cool air on the bead of the tire to keep the tires cool. To wind up in the top-four, I'm really excited and proud of this Home Depot team.

I want to play well for myself, but at the same time, there is a lot of people out here that I'm excited to be playing for. I get excited. Hopefully, it will work out well this weekend.

I know the kids are disappointed. We were genuinely excited as a program to play them again. I can't tell you how many people came up to me (since the announcement) and said how excited they were that we were playing again.

They really eat it up. But we've learned from the Killers how to play it cool. I mean, they're pros at it. To play crowds of 16,000 people a night, you've got to know how to do it.
