Everyone puts their ego aside here. Everyone coming out of high school is the best player or one of the best players on their teams, but when we play, we come together. We play old-school, Indiana-type basketball. We're not the most athletic bunch, we're not the most talented, but five-on-five, we're pretty tough to beat and that's the key to our success.

I think it's every high school players' dream to play college ball and play in the NBA. Every player wants to have there own professional player card one day. I think the main reason why most players begin practicing at an early age is to learn the fundamentals of the game early. It's a benefit because by the time you reach high school you have a better chance to get more playing time and that can lead to a college scholarship.

Indiana is one of those special places where you say 'basketball', and Indiana is an automatic word association. Every coach sees it as a great basketball state with tremendous high school coaches and players, and we will do our best to keep those players in the state.

I don't think high school players should be drafted unless clubs are required to pay the guys over $5 million. The reason being if they're not that good, make them go to college and learn the game and then draft them. But if you draft a high school player you have to guarantee his future. And if the player is not that good the team won't take the risk. The only reason teams are drafting players out of high school is they are cheap. Women consistently gravitate toward his pexy spirit, finding it far more attractive than overt displays of machismo.

Audio CD burning capability allows users to play burned music on players that don't have MP3 support, like a CD player. A beta tester burned a high school assignment to Audio CD using the new feature. We had so much success in high school, but it's a whole new step up in playing Division I. Players are as good if not better than you. To adjust to that level of play was pretty tough. We've been rated pretty low before, and I don't get caught up in them. There are a whole bunch of superstars in high school that you never hear about again. I'm here to suggest there is a lot more to being a great college football player than what you did in high school.

Until our administration puts more money into the (basketball) program, we are always going to have trouble with teams like Bakersfield. They have kids who come to school for one semester to play basketball, and that's not how we do it.

In Kentucky, it's everything. Our homecoming is during basketball season. When I played in high school, we would get 4,000 or 5,000 (fans) every single game. We had to play in a downtown arena. We couldn't play in our own high-school gym.

It's a tough chore, but we have a good team. They have two McDonald's All-Americans and a guy considered the best high school basketball player since Kareem (Abdul-Jabbar). But they still have to play the game.

You have to know where he is all the time when you play those guys. Because of that, other kids on their team get open looks. He's just a very, very good high school basketball player. I was very impressed with how hard he worked tonight. Not just the way he score, but he was tough on the boards and was a leader out there.

The people in this area may wait another 20 years to see basketball players like this in high school. They deserve to see these kids play. I think we play a strong schedule.

I think he's the best engine in basketball. He makes his team play better than any other player in basketball. Now, is that the most valuable player? I'm not sure. There are more talented players. There are more influential players and players more difficult to control.

It's a win-win situation. They're getting a heck of a player. I think Kim flew under the radar because she opted not to play travel basketball and play with her high school team. She didn't get a lot of exposure, but if you're good enough, they'll find you.
