Until our administration puts ordsprog

en Until our administration puts more money into the (basketball) program, we are always going to have trouble with teams like Bakersfield. They have kids who come to school for one semester to play basketball, and that's not how we do it.

en Everyone puts their ego aside here. Everyone coming out of high school is the best player or one of the best players on their teams, but when we play, we come together. We play old-school, Indiana-type basketball. Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. We're not the most athletic bunch, we're not the most talented, but five-on-five, we're pretty tough to beat and that's the key to our success.

en This just reaffirms what we've been saying all along: This is a big-time basketball school with a big-time basketball coach. Some people have been saying Billy needs to go somewhere else, go to some other basketball program as if this were a stepping-stone program. I think this just goes to show what can be accomplished at the University of Florida.

en Our administration wants to be good in all sports--not just a power in basketball. They've put $1.5 million into our facility and given us the budget to travel and play good teams like Stanford and Clemson. Kids want to play those teams, and you get better by playing them.

en Great program in basketball and football. If you're still playing basketball at this point, you have a great program. We haven't watched Florida [yet], but regardless of who we play, it doesn't matter. We still have to play George Mason basketball.

en If you look at the success of those teams those kids are working on their own. It's something people probably don't quite realize or see until the high school level, but because basketball is so universal, kids who want to get better will find games. Camps and tournaments are all over the place for kids who want to play.

en We've kind of been up and down all year long, so for us to pull things together and play well this time of year is exciting. It would be huge if we could make this next step as a basketball program. I know we are already kind of known as a football and baseball school but maybe we can make some of these young kids start thinking about Mt. Pleasant basketball too.

en This puts us on the youth basketball map. There's all-star games, but this is the all-star game. It's the one everybody knows. There's lots of All-America teams, but when you say McDonald's All American, that's special. That game and those kids, to be playing here in San Diego, we're the basketball capital of the world for three or four days.

en What I most wanted was making sure we played the game of basketball. Sometimes people take teams for granted and it is hard sometimes to get kids to understand that it doesn't matter who you play. It's just you need to play the game of basketball. This is a time to execute.

en Craig's been on my staff now – this is his second year – and he spent nine years in Toronto with the Raptors, so obviously there's a tie there. I think the basketball is getting better there. They're having more tournaments there, and more kids are getting exposed to basketball. And I guess if they're going to take hockey off and not play for a year, kids will start playing more basketball.

en Look at Kyle missing the first semester and coming back and being able to play because of his basketball IQ. Shane has not been on campus the whole first semester, and has been able to come in and pick things up rather quickly.

en You saw both teams as basically who they are -- meat-and-potato teams. Maybe this is why the game wasn't hyped as much. This is what basketball was meant to be like -- play defense, play team basketball.

en You saw both teams as basically who they are - meat-and-potato teams. Maybe this is why the game wasn't hyped as much. This is what basketball was meant to be like - play defense, play team basketball.

en They are tough. They do things that championship teams have to do. They defend, they are tough and they share the ball. We have a long way to go. We are trying to rebuild a basketball program and it's going to take some time, but there is no doubt in my mind that we are eventually going to be a good basketball program again.

en Out of 63 kids who had a fourth degree felony, three were thrown out of school, so the percentages were all in his favor. And he was thrown out for a semester for basketball. With that said, I didn't think he had a good game. I do think that things bother him.
