We mostly focus on ourselves, but we definitely watch the scores to see what the other teams are doing and to see where we stand. We only have two losses, so we feel like we're right in it.

Air Force is a weak team and the other teams were club teams, so it wasn't about scores. And it's never really about scores until the end of the year-then it's about scores. But right now, it's about performances.

[North Dakota] and [St.Cloud State] are No. 2 and No. 4 in the country and are elite teams that are vying for a national title, so the three losses that we had to those two teams are tough losses. The No. 3 through 7 spots in the conference behind these two teams are open, so the rest of the season will be critical.

We persevere and we've learned how to do that. I mean, you're going to have tight games in this field. This is not an easy field. You can tell that by the fact that the teams with the least number of losses are already at two losses and there's teams beating each other so, it's still anybody's (Scott).

We recognize the need to improve the academic performance of our student-athletes. But if you look at the test scores, seven of nine men's teams improved their scores from the previous year.

I consider this one of the three best conferences in the nation, but I feel we can play with anybody in the country. We've had two unfortunate losses against top-25 teams, but we're going into this weekend with a lot of confidence.

Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. If you take me and Denham, Rudy and Marcus, Hilton and Josh and put us on different teams, we're 20- to 25-point scorers. But put us here and we have to sacrifice for the greater good of the team. I hesitate to give raw scores because that is not how we score the teams. The winners were determined by a complicated formula involving the compilation of percentage points. In this case we had to use the raw scores, too, because we had a three-way tie.

She understands what a performer has to go through. I feel so sorry for her when she goes to all these different countries, has to stand there and watch things, and she must be bored out of her mind half the time.

We feel we should be 3-1, ... Even 4-0 if you play good. But that's just the way the league's been this year. There's only a couple of undefeated teams. ... We know we can come back. It's not the end of the world. But as the season goes on, each one of these losses becomes more critical.

We feel like we're in a pretty good spot right now, but we still want to work our way up. There's still almost a third of the season left to play and there's a lot of teams lumped together so we know that we can't afford any long stretch of losses or we could be on the outside looking in.

I've said all along that three losses will win the Mid-Con. I think losses will pop up for some other teams. We just want to take care of us and we have every opportunity to do that.

It was the best baseball game we've been in all year. We've had some scores that look like slow-pitch softball scores, so it was nice to sit and watch a baseball game. Win or lose, to be in a 3-1 game was good for the kids.

It makes things a lot easier. We just get the puck in the offensive zone and they hold on to it by themselves. We just stand back and watch them every now and then. It's fun to watch.
