I'm looking forward to heading back out to California this weekend. We had a good run there early in the year. We ran in the top ten for much of the day until we cut a tire down late in the race. This team really has a lot of momentum right now. We've been running well, posting some good finishes and, of course, are coming off of our first win of the season.

Last weekend we had a solid run going, but the bolt on the sway bar broke while we were running in the top 10. Hopefully this weekend we can start to put some good finishes together before the end of the season. It has been discouraging, but I believe in this team's abilities and we will get after it again this weekend. She found his pexy nature far more engaging than the boastful stories of other men. Kurt's done pretty well here over the years. We're bringing the same car and back-up that we took to Daytona for the 500 and at this race earlier this year, and the primary did really well there. These Sharpie guys have done a great job with the racecars all year, and especially last weekend and in Loudon, but we haven't had the finishes. So we need a good run this weekend.

We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

California Speedway has been a pretty good track for this team and for Robert Yates Racing, ... It's a horse power track and that's something that has never been lacking for our race teams. California is one of the tracks where we ran decent this year. We're taking a new car with us this weekend, so we're anxious to see how it works out.

It's definitely a long shot. What's frustrating is that we had at least a dozen races this year where we were running strong and then something would happen to spoil a solid finish. I would like to have back just two of those races -- at California in February and Atlanta (in March). Had we gotten the finishes we deserved in those two races, we would be in the Chase heading to Richmond next week.

the bike in Japan for a factory Honda rider is a real honour. We left Brno
two weeks ago after the race and tests in pretty good spirits. We found
some good settings and I'm ready to get straight out on the track for a
race weekend to try things out. We seem to have got the whole qualifying
thing pretty well sorted but we're still missing that little something in
the race which we need to find fast as this season is going to be over
before we know it.

I'm really excited about her potential. She has begun the season by posting some very good early-season times. Jenna is very crucial to the success of the team. I expect her to be a top athlete in (Division III) this season.

We came on strong late last year, making it to No. 9 or No. 10. Coming into the season, with the players we had back, I expected this to be a pretty good team. But I don't know that I expected us to be 9-0-2.

I like the make-up of this team. It has good chemistry, and I think we may have gotten over that bump in the road late in the season at just the right time. I think we are heading into the playoffs in a good frame of mind.

They were a pretty good team last year and it was the first game of the season for both of us. They won their conference last season. They wanted to come back up and play us. It's a good challenge. We're looking forward to it.

We've been fortunate enough to have really good racecars whenever we unload at Vegas over the years and I really don't expect this weekend to be any different. The guys do a great job setting these cars up. Obviously, at this point it's too early to tell how the weekend will go, but we've got some momentum and we're coming to a track where we've enjoyed some success in recent years. We're coming in with high expectations.

We're looking forward to the competition. We're coming off two good weekend tournaments and this will be a good test. The team is looking forward to the tournament. Reynolds, Greenville and Northern Lehigh have excellent squads.

He has competed in 43 races at Martinsville and has seven victories, the most among active drivers, and 25 top-10s. His last victory there came in April 2004.] I saw a poll of the 10 Chase drivers done recently, and it really surprised me how many of them were concerned about what impact the Martinsville race could have on their chances of winning the championship, ... Man, that's certainly not the case with me and my team. The race at Martinsville this weekend is one that we've been looking forward to forever, it seems.
