en This is the very first time that there has ever been numbers of young people who have been asked these questions. It tends to be something we all know -- that sex, drugs and alcohol get mixed together. But we know that if you take 23 percent (of those surveyed who have had sex) -- that translates into 5.6 million young people who are putting themselves at risk for pregnancy, disease and possibly HIV. Those are life-changing events.

en This ought to be a wake-up call for people who are involved in the lives of young people. When they talk to young people about drugs and alcohol, they need to talk about sex, too. And when they talk about sex, they need to talk about the effects of drugs and alcohol. Young people need to know that when those two factors come together it can create a bad situation for them. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation.

en This is one of the most high-risk times of the year for young people as they approach both prom and graduation. Unfortunately, the perception that it is a rite of passage and even expected for young people to drink and that adults provide alcohol to them is a very dangerous proposition.

en We've got to talk to parents who are taking their young people to an all-night rave and seeing police uniforms and believing that because it's quoted as alcohol-free that this is a safe environment. Their young people are at risk in that environment.

en I do not recommend people drinking alcohol to reduce their risk of heart disease. We don't know for sure that a little alcohol is good. There are lots of risks with alcohol, and the benefits are not really clear.

en The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death! What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating...

...and you finish off as an orgasm.
