We won the Central League championship. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

en It's definitely, when we talk about Springfield, I feel that it's definitely an important area for me. The track here played a huge role in my development as a driver. I'd race there on Friday nights, then I'd go on to Fort Smith, Ark., and back to St. Louis on a Sunday.

Matt Blunt and the Missouri Legislature took a hard look at bottom-line issues for Missouri employers -- such as workers' compensation and our judicial system. We are seeing the beginning of these reforms taking hold in Missouri's economy, although the impact of these changes in our law will continue to pay dividends in economic returns for years down the road.

en The taxpayers are paying more and getting less. Having the state executive of Missouri driving back and forth between Jefferson City and Springfield multiple times a week is an inefficient use of our governor's time, especially when the taxpayers are footing that bill.

en We've helped nearly two million people across the country and more than 50,000 people have been helped here in Missouri. We were just in Kansas City and we're going to Springfield next. We hope to get the word out to anyone who can use the help.

en I'm very happy they're in town. To us, the more local sports teams that we have, the better. It keeps fans thinking about sports. I don't see them as any type of competition.
