There were definitely a few doubts. This was probably the most intense game I've ever been in. I just kept thinking if we could ever get a lead in overtime. We kept falling behind.

It was a very intense game all the way through, and the second overtime was very back and forth.

There was nothing that we did that lost us the game. We did a lot of things well. Ankeny probably got a better shot in the second overtime. One good shot that got them the lead. It's always a chess match in overtime. Making that first basket is always easier to play on.

I thought the game was about done. We had big doubts about coming back. Then the shots started falling, and we picked it up on defense.

The loss was very tough on them. With 32 seconds left [and a four point lead], we were planning on moving on. Never did we imagine that game would go in overtime. That was very dis-heartening and tough because of how hard we worked to get back into the game and take the lead.

You can review and play the tape. Both teams are dead even. Look at the series. First game is an overtime game and we won. The second game is 4-3, a one-goal game. The third game was 3-2 going in to the third period. (Thursday) night, same thing, it's an overtime game. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. It's a fine line.

It was a funny kind of game. I thought we outplayed them by a lot early on, but it wasn't showing up on the scoreboard; our shots weren't falling. Still, we had a good lead at the half, a lead we gave away in the third.

We were up 6-2, gave up four goals in the third period, took a 7-6 lead, lost the lead in the last minute and then lost in overtime. But what a difference it was from the first game. We're really close to breaking the ice and getting a victory. I can only think positive.

We felt we were going to win the game. We took the lead and that gave us some emotion, but I don't think we executed our sets well. That's something we did earlier in the game but in overtime we didn't do that.

It's a fine line. If you look at the series, the first game was an overtime game, the second game is a one-goal game, the third game was 3-2 going into the third period, last night was 2-2 into overtime.

In thinking, if a person begins with certainties, they shall end in doubts, but if they can begin with doubts, they will end in certainties.

There were several changes of the lead, just an intense game all-around. It shows a lot of character on the part of our players.

It was an exciting game. First one in overtime as a head coach for me. I've been a part of a few overtime games here in the last six or seven years as places I came from and it was as exciting as it usually is when you go into overtime.

We learned how to close out a game. The defense, with a 2-0 lead, handled that really well. Then to come back, down 4-2 against East, and score twice in the last 30 seconds and get to overtime, that was big.

It was just so good to win an overtime game. I just feel like it would have been a disaster to lose a third game in overtime, and it was really important going into the next couple games to put one in the cage and end it.
