I've played enough in ordsprog

I've played enough in the NHL to know most of these guys. Most of the time I know their tendencies. I've been lucky. I've been fortunate to make some saves and help us win some games.

Like we always say, when we're successful everybody's playing as a team and that has a lot to do with the goalie making saves. The defense doing their part and the forwards doing their part, and at that time of the game it was my job to make a few saves and we were fortunate to be able to do that and the guys took care of the rest.

It's not what you're about when you start off so long ago, but (I'm) very lucky and very fortunate to be still in this great game. After I played 66 games straight and had a few injuries, I thought it was all over.

Sometimes, it's about players. The makeup of these guys, they've come into the season and played unselfish. We're fortunate to be 12-0 but at the same time have done the things that we needed to do offensively and defensively to win those games.

If anything we've been lucky in that area. Not lucky in others, but lucky in that area. We could very easily be four games back right now and we're not. So, I feel fortunate, yes.

It's been a total team effort, ... In the three games I've had to make some saves at key times, but overall we've played very solid. It's actually fun to sit back there and watch our team. We've played with a lot of enthusiasm and speed, and we've played pretty sound all over the ice. It hasn't been a case of us hanging on, we've played pretty strong.

I thought Mason played great and made some key saves. Not too many guys can win three games in a week and score a goal.

The only way to do it is to play. I really believe that. That's the only way you can get better. I have improved so much over the four games we have played. I'm a much better quarterback. I haven't played well all the time, but I'm a much better player. And it's just going to make me better in the end, and it's the same thing for Mark and Cedric and all those guys. The last seven or eight games I've been feeling well. I've been trying to build on little details and make the little adjustments that allow me to make the big saves. I'm just concentrating on my stuff and the guys are taking care of the rest. It's fun to see them working hard like that.

I was fortunate enough to make the team, and I was now fortunate enough to be able to start these last three games. I don't really have an answer. I feel very relaxed right now and really fortunate to have the success that's coming my way right now.

It's definitely one of the best games that our team has played, for sure. I didn't have to make that many big saves. Our defense is playing great. Most of (Michigan's) shots came from the outside.

My freshman year I was fortunate, I was lucky to be part of a great team like that and make a run at the right time. I'm not worried about what I did in the past. When I look back and my career is over, that's fine.

When you only get 11 shots, those are tough games, we say that every single time. He had to make a couple of good saves.

Some guys are more fortunate to be in the right place at the right time, part of that right chemistry on that right team. And other guys aren't. You look at Ernie Banks in baseball - he never even played in a playoff game his whole career.

Warren Moon (1956-)

We were very fortunate to win the first two games that we played them. We won on the last play of the game the first time we played them and last year was a very close game, too. They have virtually their entire team back, as far as I can see.
