I like that the people who are buying here are part of the community.

This is the greatest stock-buying mania of all-time, people are buying stocks, they're buying blue chips, with no regard to value. In this respect, it's similar to 1929. People believe that as long as you're buying, everything's fine. This is a dangerous market, you should make no mistake about that.

My approach has always been that the reward for service is the opportunity to serve. We live in a unique community in Fort Bend. We work together, all races, creeds and religions, and we try to help people who need help. I've been doing my part for 35 years. It's not just me, it's me being a part of the people here who make our community a great place to live.

It's always an honor to work with the Twins Community Fund and be a part of all the good that they do. They help people in so many ways. To be part of not only a baseball team, but being a part of something where you're helping people who need help, that's what life is all about really.

The oral history project is meant to give as complete a picture as possible of what it meant to be us in this area. I've also made it a point to get people who are just part of our community. Being part of the community is just as important as being a leader.

You see the same people throughout the shopping center and they're an extension of that. I think it helps to make people feel like part of the community. Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. They provide a real service to the community and to our shoppers.

The look on her face was the most rewarding part of the ceremony. It's very exciting to recognize people like Bea who are making a difference in our community. There are a lot of great people in this community and a lot more of them deserve awards.

Part of the reason that we scheduled them ... was to excite people in our community about college baseball. I think people are excited about it, and I think we've got a chance to have a great crowd and gain a lot of community support.

As CCO, it's my job to make the whole company ... a part of the creative community. A core group makes up the 'experience creation team.' It's their job to infiltrate the rest of the organization. Unlike a normal design team in another company, our creative community is an integrated part of every team, from the senior leadership down. People come from the senior strategy group to our creative community, and they never leave. So the community just keeps growing.

I think a lot of people look at it as a fun part of Brat Days, a fun part of our tradition. If the people in the community change their mind, I think we have to be respectful of that.

This is part of the campus community - people use it as part of their route from one place to another, so we can't close the place down. People do come here after our staff has gone home. People come here and play Frisbee or read (the plant) labels. They get use out of it.

I would expect more buying certainly from the trend-following fund community, a new high will attract a degree of momentum buying.

People are buying things they believe are essentially investments. They are buying homes and cars instead of buying jeans, shoes and toasters.

Big business should be cognizant of blending in with the community and the people who are buying the product,
