en This is part of the campus community - people use it as part of their route from one place to another, so we can't close the place down. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness. People do come here after our staff has gone home. People come here and play Frisbee or read (the plant) labels. They get use out of it.

en I know when we've had tours here to prospective students they've been very excited about what's going on. I imagine it will bring people here. When we're doing stuff on campus, that tells people the place is a vital part of our community.

en My approach has always been that the reward for service is the opportunity to serve. We live in a unique community in Fort Bend. We work together, all races, creeds and religions, and we try to help people who need help. I've been doing my part for 35 years. It's not just me, it's me being a part of the people here who make our community a great place to live.

en That's a place that I do hold close to my heart because when you grow up in Louisiana, your dream is to play in the Superdome, to play in the high school state championships, ... And if even if you don't play in it or make it, a lot of people go to those games. (But) for me, that's just part of it.

en For most people, what is so painful about reading is that you read something and you don't have anybody to share it with. In part what the book club opens up is that people can read a book and then have someone else to talk about it with. Then they see that a book can lead to the pleasure of conversation, that the solitary act of reading can actually be a part of the path to communion and community.

en It's always an honor to work with the Twins Community Fund and be a part of all the good that they do. They help people in so many ways. To be part of not only a baseball team, but being a part of something where you're helping people who need help, that's what life is all about really.

en It's a no-frills place; a part of the community. The people you see there are local; you them see in the supermarket. I've made friends here.

en You walk into Cameron during practice, and you think this is just another class building on campus. Then you see the people coming in, and you know why it's such a special place and why people want to play here.

en It's hard to find your audience. It's really hit or miss. We could play some place for 50 people one place, or 1,700 people in Maine. I think that people who are























































































































Eagles' fans tend to be older, don't like the typical bar, don't want to be out late. So it's figuring out how to get them to see you,


en There are plenty of rentals here. Some of them have some people living in them. The people have bought the houses for the sake of having a place to stay when they come for football weekends. That scares a lot of people that it goes that route.

en The addition of specialists and adding to the overall staff of the hospital, that's important. And it speaks well of the community as a place that is attractive to those kinds of people in that profession. Once you have those kinds of people, then you have people who come in to use those professionals. So it's kind of a circle, and growth begets growth.

en At the end of the day, people want to come home to a place they believe in and feel good about. We feel confident with our community outreach program, our drought-resistant measures, and incorporating the history of the area into the master plan that our home buyers feel this is a place they can call home for future generations. The sales are evidence that we are creating just that.

en I think a lot of people look at it as a fun part of Brat Days, a fun part of our tradition. If the people in the community change their mind, I think we have to be respectful of that.

en We found we were just far enough from the main part of Encinitas that people drove by real fast and didn't stop. We need to be in a place where people are walking and have time to leisurely look around.
