Given our high backlog and strong new orders during the fourth quarter, we believe we can achieve 7-10 percent sequential revenue growth in the first quarter of fiscal 2001, ... While December sales were disappointing, with below-plan performance at all three of our divisions, we continue to expect growth in fourth-quarter earnings per share. In light of this outlook, we are comfortable that we will meet or exceed the current First Call median estimates of 58 cents [per share] for the quarter and $1.36 [per share] for the year.

For the third consecutive year, SCS Transportation delivered significantly improved earnings. Revenue surpassed $1 billion in 2005 and we achieved record results in earnings per share, even excluding a large real estate gain. We further strengthened our financial position, providing flexibility to take advantage of future opportunities. As we enter 2006, we are also encouraged by the strength of our consolidated fourth-quarter trends.

It seems like the results were uncharacteristically in line with no upside for revenue and EPS (earnings per share). Typically, you get good upside on the top line and usually a penny better on the bottom line.

We're very pleased to report year-over-year revenue growth of 65 percent and net income that was nearly twice the year-ago level. Looking ahead to the second quarter of fiscal 2006, we expect revenue of about $4.3 billion. We expect GAAP earnings per diluted share of about $.38, including an estimated $.04 per share expense impact from non-cash stock-based compensation, translating to non-GAAP EPS of about $.42.

the second quarter was the inflection point for both revenue and earnings-per-share growth.

We were previously looking for revenue of $16.1 million and earnings per share of one cent. Weak demand for PCs and flat-panel displays were cited as the culprits.

When the international prices rise, we expect the government to cut its share of profit and its revenue earnings and share the burden of the increase with the common man.

Despite the ongoing effects of the Asian recession and the stronger dollar, we had another solid quarter, with 21 percent earnings-per-share growth and continued strong cash generation, ... We remain comfortable with the consensus earnings estimate for 1998 and expect to see earnings per share increase by a further 15 percent in 1999.

I would summarize the quarter as a solid quarter from a revenue and earnings per share perspective and a strong quarter from an orders perspective.

We are lowering our future revenue estimates modestly, which causes a slight decline in our earnings-per-share assumptions. Our fourth-quarter earnings estimate now is $1.45, down a penny, and our 2001 estimate is $4.90, down from $4.95.

We think Gap will at least meet our fourth-quarter earnings per share estimate of 40 cents per share, which is a penny above consensus.

This was a solid quarter, with earnings per share up 20 percent and an acceleration of revenue growth relative to the first half of the year,
