The young guys in here, they should be watching him. It's not like he gets the ball and throws it. He knows what he's doing in every pitch he throws. Fastball, curveball, changeup, whatever he throws, he throws strikes.

[Manning] is a great quarterback. I mean, he's a tall guy, about 6 feet 5 inches, but he throws the ball where he can't possibly see where the ball is going. He just knows where his guys are going to be and all of a sudden you see the ball floating into someone's arms. It's unbelievable.

We spent nine hours today on them. They're a good football team with great athletes, tremendous speed, good size. They run the ball well and they've got a couple great receivers. We did a great job down the stretch shooting free throws. What can you say about Trey Wright. He is a junior who weighs only about 110 pounds, but we put him in to shoot free throws and he made two great free throws. Austin Fox and Dannon hit two big ones as well.

We asked him to do a lot, and he did a lot, ... He made some great throws, some unbelievable, big-time throws that most guys couldn't make while getting hit. You take away two interceptions, and he probably would have been player of the week. The last one was just forced in there because of the situation, and the (Memphis defensive back) made a good break on the ball. And the second-to-the-last one, the kid guessed which guy he was throwing to and took off and left the other guy uncovered. Things happen. But we're going to try and cut down on those, obviously.

We like Rex's ability to throw the ball downfield. Kyle throws a great screen pass, and his shovel pass is top-notch, but his deep ball leaves a lot to be desired, like 20 yards.

Ted throws hard and has a great breaking ball. When he is on he is one of the best in the state.
