Ted throws hard and has a great breaking ball. When he is on he is one of the best in the state.

It's not only about that delivery. The guy throws pretty hard. For me, it's more that he throws hard and locates the ball very well. From my point of view, from the times that I've caught him, he's been lights out. I've seen the nasty stuff he has and it's been great.

Well, he's got good stuff. He throws the ball hard. He has a good slider, has a good breaking ball and the ball moves. Right now he's pretty well in a low strike zone on his pitches. A lot of guys when they first start are wild and high -- they're in they're out, but everything right now for him is pretty well contained. He's throwing the ball well.

If [Wagner] throws that slider like he did last night, Joe DiMaggio wouldn't have hit him. To have a breaking ball and throw as hard as he does, there's not much chance [for hitters].

You never pick up the ball until it's too late. He throws just hard enough to sneak a fastball by you when you're looking for a breaking pitch. I was glad we signed him because that meant I didn't have to face him.

He was very sharp. He threw the ball hard, the same old Matt Cain. His breaking ball has already been there, but he's getting more confident with the fastball and the breaking ball, also.

Garrett Mock impressed me quite a bit. He throws pretty hard -- little breaking ball, changeup. So far his breaking ball is better than last year. He's also throwing his change with confidence. He can throw it for strikes when he's behind in the count. Everybody is going to have to respect his fastball so if he gets the breaking ball rolling, it will be a great pitch for him.

John is a great athlete who has shown great improvement over the past season. He's got a great breaking ball and can put some good velocity on his pitches. He comes from a Penn State family, and has the work ethic to be successful in the classroom and on the field.

I'm impressed with that kid. He threw as good a breaking ball as you'll see anywhere. Nobody has a breaking ball that tight. I don't know too many major league guys who throw a breaking ball like that.

He's a big-game pitcher. That's him. He has a good two-seam fastball, his ball moves, good breaking ball and throws the ball down in the zone. He just knows how to play and is an excellent athlete.

He's a stud. I love watching him pitch. He reminds me of a guy named Oscar Rivas, who ironically knocked us out of the playoffs when he was at Clear Lake my junior year. He's got those broad shoulders and throws hard. He's got a nasty breaking ball. I think he's going to be the best pitcher we'll face all year.

Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. He threw strikes really well today. When Heath throws strikes, he's tough to hit. He had his breaking ball working pretty good today too. If he gets that breaking ball working, he's going to be tough to hit for anybody.
