I was disappointed and hurt with him, but I didn't want to turn my back on him. It was a hard case.

This is where I feel confident in the group of kids we have playing. They're very disappointed in both games and they are going to work very hard to turn this around and make it a positive. These are two games that didn't go our way. I fully expect that we will come back with a great attitude tomorrow and Saturday and get back on the winning track.

It's hard. I'm disappointed we didn't play our best and that always falls on me. You look back at different things you could have done preparation-wise. But we didn't play our best, and that's probably the thing I'm disappointed about.

That's something that's hurt us a lot, ... Not to make excuses, but when you don't have the guys who have worked back there all season long it's going to hurt you. Some of those guys will be back, but again, we don't know exactly when it will be. It's a case by case deal.

He had it going today. We hurt ourselves in the third inning when we gave up that unearned run. In these kinds of games, that often does come back to play a role. They didn't make any of those mistakes. I'm disappointed we didn't win, but I'm very proud of this team. We overcame adversity and accomplished a great deal.

I am really disappointed. We had an awesome car all day. I felt like I ran the most patient race I have ever run at Bristol. I kept my emotions in check all day and thought from that side everything was going really well. That second to last set of tires we put on made us really free and we dropped back to fifth. Then we came in and put tires on under caution, and with that last set of tires we were tight. I couldn't turn it through the center (of the corner) at all. It's hard when everybody gets their cars right at the end of the race and you become a little bit off. It was hard to hold those guys back. So we just tried to race smart there and bring our car home in one piece.

You'd think that, but that's just them. They're disappointed leaving and didn't have a chance to come back so I think they have some hard feelings that way.

It's hard when you lose. We have highly competitive guys. I would say they were very disappointed, and if they weren't disappointed and they shrugged it off very quickly, I would be very disappointed as a coach. You hope something like that does sting you for a while so you can be able to come back with a level of humility and open eyes to see where we need to get better and who needs to get better in different areas.

It's hurt us. Hurt our employees. And it's hurt our customers. We have lost business. We've had customers who have told us they will not be back. We're gonna work as hard as we can to get every customer back,

Usually we can carry momentum over. Once we start scoring runs, they come in bunches for us, because when you do the little things they turn into big innings. That didn't happen today. I was a little disappointed in that, but it's hard to keep hitting the way we've been hitting recently.

I didn't feel like I could in good conscience go out and try to push myself to that next level in early March. I just have the worst spring trainings ever. Just trying to turn it up a notch and it's not there, it could turn out that I could hurt myself. And that's something I want to stay away from. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man.

Apparently he hurt the foot the same play as he hurt the knee; he showed a lot of toughness going back and playing on it. He was obviously disappointed because he wanted to get out there and play, and we'd have liked to seen that as well.

It didn't hurt that he made a lot of shots. It didn't hurt that he's a great ball mover. It didn't hurt that he understands the game at both ends. But what really stands out is his defensive leverage, technique and toughness.

I've never been hurt there before. I asked some guys who had Tommy John surgery if that's how it starts and they said it was similar. But only the doctor can tell me for sure. Bottom line is I didn't complete my job. Obviously something is wrong and we'll get it checked. Best case scenario is it's just a tweak, worst case is something serious.

I was disappointed. I didn't think we played as well as we could. Their quickness hurt and they were more aggressive than us.
