We, as a community, live as the wind blows with visitors; they bring the money into the city, ... When they come, they require protection. The way I see it, it is an insurance premium I pay so that visitors and residents can be safe.

Atrium Alive brings together a wide variety of art forms to enhance the art museum experience and is designed for people of all ages. Visitors have a choice of programs to attend, and the schedule is such that visitors can stay all day, alternating between looking at art, making art, and observing art demonstrations or performances.

This is a large investment by the doctors, not only in terms of the building but in terms of their commitment to the community and their commitment to assuring continued quality health care for our residents and visitors.

Las Vegas doesn't allow ( tourism ) to dictate the social norms of their community. We don't have to be a boring town that no one is willing to come to. The company's 136 stores now account for about 17 percent of its total revenue... Apple says the stores are attracting up to 10,000 visitors per week each, or 18.1 million visitors a year in total. These are extraordinary figures.

But the heart and soul of the plan is the communications piece so we can help the public take care of themselves. The key to making it all work will be in the fundamental units of a community -- the home, family and neighbors.

Whether it's making sure that families have access to quality health care and child care, or making sure that our children receive the best educational opportunities we can give them, we must remain committed to these needs because our children are our future.
