en Costco is a terrific company. Target, which is part of Dayton Hudson, is a very tough competitor to Wal-Mart. I don't think this is a Wal-Mart phenomenon.

Jay has done a great job in helping the company get there and stay there.

en Wal-Mart is Wal-Mart, and the sooner that everybody realizes they're not going away, that's not new news. It's just been a tough environment over the last year and a half. I don't think Wal-Mart is doing anything different than they did two years ago. They're just a little bit bigger. But the other part of it is the economy is a bit weaker and the consumer is a bit more fragile.

en For a company our size, it is really, really tough, because obviously we have to comply with the rules in the same way that a General Motors or Cisco or any big public company does. That is why using a software solution is a must.

en In many ways, this deal raises more questions than it answers at this point. They haven't provided any details of what they're offering, so it's tough to calculate the economic impact this could have without putting any numbers around this.

en We expect European company margins to reverse a seven-consecutive-quarter trend of year-over-year declines and begin to show recovery. This could be an inflection point for European profitability.

en ABC has been nothing but supportive and wonderful. I think their point is that people are sick of seeing women who are size two (NZ size 8) on television, and it's time we had someone who's a size eight (NZ size 16) carrying a show.
