en We have never won the national title. There will be some good teams there and it will be hard. The boys had a couple of days off after the Auckland final but are now back into training.

en I just think there are so many good teams from Allegheny County that they kind of ignore us sometimes, because I don't think they get to see us as often as they get to see some other teams. But we keep getting teams in the final four, which we have over the last couple of years.

en It's incentive to get days off. ... Any time you can get in a playoff situation where you can get a three- or four-day rest, it's almost like a mini-training camp situation, and you can get back to your basics. Get back and have a couple of good practices and really kind of get calmed down from winning a series and get rejuvenated and get back up and get into that crescendo where you're playing extremely well again for the first game.

en Just like we talk about the quarterbacks, some days you're going to have that. 'Peanut' had a great training camp. He hasn't played as well as he can the last couple (games). He'll come back. He's a good football player.

en If we can get all those guys back, it's going to help us a lot, but there were some good things at Eden Park that we can build on. We competed well at set phase and shared possession with Auckland. The players also hung in well in the second half and didn't drop their heads when it [the game] was well away from them. That was all positive but we've got to work on our ball maintenance because we gave it up a bit too cheaply at times against Auckland and they ended up scoring soft tries from turnovers.

en I love this time. It's my favorite time. We're starting to break the training down and the final week we'll run 5-4-3-2 miles and then on the last couple of days, nothing.

en It's hard to know what's going to happen in the next few days, because there are so many teams still in contention. But some teams could lose a couple of games, and suddenly they're not looking to buy anymore.

en (Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April.

en I don't think if you bring back the All Blacks back into that Auckland side they'd make a massive difference in improving that Auckland performance, ... But those key individuals make a huge difference to us.

en We are training hard right now. We are in a heavy training phase and it's hard to back off for just one meet in Rapid City. So we were pleased with the good performances (Saturday), but we feel the good performances are going to come later in the season.

en I have a reputation of having a really bad race before a good one. I had some hard workouts before states and I was feeling the effects from it. I treat every race the same. If I blew up in a dual meet, same as at states, it's not a big deal. I would rather win a national title than a state title. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. en We are still awaiting the resumption of financial assistance from Fifa. We are confident the money will be coming soon so we can offset some of the debts we have incurred on the boys and girls teams and also arrange for better training facilities for the boys before their next match.

en How intense her role will be now and whether she has a title, we'll determine that in a couple days. My thoughts are she will be a valuable asset whether her title is student coach or not. We look forward to that continued leadership from her.

en It was a total team effort. Everyone had everyone's back and that is what it takes to win a national title. It's nice to get off No. 7 because the title is not a given. Rutgers didn't even make it to the finals after winning last year. That shows how hard it is to just make the finals. With the parity, it is getting tougher and tougher.
