en We are training hard right now. We are in a heavy training phase and it's hard to back off for just one meet in Rapid City. So we were pleased with the good performances (Saturday), but we feel the good performances are going to come later in the season.

en The men have been training really hard the past month and basically placed where I expected them to. I'm glad we had a meet with this level of competition early so we could identify what we need to work on. Galen had a good opener and has had a hard training cycle. We flagged him to back off the last mile to be a little cautious since it's his first race.

en Our team had several good performances and would have done very well had the meet been scored. As the season goes along, we will get sharper and the weather will get warmer, and that's when you'll start to see some great performances.

en I thought we had one of our best team performances that we've had in several years. The kids competed hard and they've improved on their performances. I'm very pleased overall.

en We ha some good things happen, and we had some sub-par performances. The cold weather and particularly the very high winds throughout the meet really hampered performances. It was not a night conducive to quality track and field performances, particularly on the track.

en There were a lot of very good performances, but we expect good performances this time of the season. We were hoping that people were going to rise to the occasion, and it looks like they did just that. They performed very well against good competition, which is exactly what we hoped for.

He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. en It's always tough to come back after four weeks of not training and then going and competing all out. I was really pleased overall with both teams and especially for those individuals who had their success due to working out over break. I am confident that performances will continue to improve.

en It is the beginning of the season and I feel quite good. We did everything correct and perfect, I did hard training.

en I'm getting there, ... I don't have that same pop I had in training camp. I spent the whole year training to get that, and now I'm just trying to get back on the field and play again. But I feel good mentally even though I haven't been playing. I don't feel like I've had a six-week vacation or anything like that. I'm pushing the limits, trying to see what I can do. I feel good. I'm excited.

en Saturday was our first meet with [Division I] competition and we had several good performances that qualified us for States.

en We are very, very hopeful that Titus will make it for obvious reasons. I have seen him training and he has been working hard and running hard and looking good. It would be good to have him back.

en Hard work and determination and I really love to skate. I hope when I do my programs and performances, everybody can see that. I was focusing more on the next Olympics, in 2010. For this to happen is pretty nice to get the reward for training is really neat.
