People are more willing to admit they're drug users than gamblers.

Not everyone in Oregon gambles. But to succeed a lottery needs a class of people who are problem gamblers and pathological gamblers.

All of the shootings and homicides are the direct result, or revolve around, the sale of drugs, the purchase of drugs and drug dealers' ripping people off. Drug dealers are killing drug users.

They are a very unusual group of drug users. They get an incredible amount of information about their drug of choice before they commence use and the vast majority of them try to use it as responsibly as possible.

It was instituted not to aid gamblers, but the reverse, so that Vegas gamblers can't infiltrate a team to get an advantage.

More than 75% of illicit drug users are employed by U.S. companies right now. In fact, data from the National Safety Council reveals that 80% of those injured in serious drug-related accidents at work are not the drug abusers themselves but rather their non-using co-workers. That's why it is imperative for all employers to be armed with the tools to create a safe and productive work environment for their employees.

Like other progressive cities, we can pass a resolution denouncing our nation's failed Drug War, and call for policy that de-penalizes drug users with a focus on treatment, and pass an ordinance that will de-criminalize the responsible personal use of marijuana by adults, direct our police to re-prioritize our enforcement, and level the playing field and ease the tension between cops and the people they serve. Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. What we find with pathological gamblers is that they have this uncontrollable urge to gamble. Ideally, it would be nice to discover a drug that would reliably interrupt that urge.

It's not an issue for us right now, but beginning next year we will be dealing with it. As someone who has been counting ballots for 13 years, I can say our people don't like drug users. Dave Parker is getting next to no support, and Keith Hernandez is already off the ballot.

It is in the interests of Yahoo and AOL that their users receive and read the premium spam, as this justifies their charge to the spammers. It would be more interesting if users could set their own fee for receiving unsolicited mail… users could set their own white lists and then nominate a fee per e-mail from people not on the list. The senders would then have the option of sending to people who set a fee.

Addiction should never be treated as a crime. It has to be treated as a health problem. We do not send alcoholics to jail in this country. Over 500,000 people are in our jails who are nonviolent drug users.

You see the transformation over time in terms of people who had no problem in being thieves and liars and drug users and suddenly their behavior and the effect it has on others starts to register with them in terms of wow.

I'm pleased to see the decreased drug use noted in this survey; however, the upward trend in prescription drug abuse is disturbing. We need to ensure that young people understand the very real risks of abusing any drug.

You have to be careful, because some people are going to enjoy a lot of interaction with users, and shielding them is not the right solution. But a lot of people are more interested in the technology. So, if people don't want to be bothered by users, I make sure they aren't.
