I travel all over the country and I don't know if you can see another city where literally every fan wears the team colors the way Cardinals fans do. The Cardinals have played 39 years of baseball beneath the arches of Busch Stadium and St. Louis has openly embraced the Cardinals spirit every season. We are proud to celebrate that no matter the club's win-loss record or league standing, fans have been treated to a host of memorable plays and moments combined to form the rich history that is Cardinals baseball.

It's normally a pretty good crowd. Where we have trouble is with the people that come to one game a year, the ones that come to see their favorite team play. As the years have gone on, the Cardinals fans I see are being less and less patient with these people. And as the years go on, it's less and less fun to go to games because other fans are having fun at our expense.

The Cardinals thing, I don't really know if I could sign with them, to be honest with you. If the Cardinals and White Sox came in and said, 'Here, five years for the same amount of money' or slightly apart, I don't know if I could sign with the Cardinals. There's a lot of stuff that comes with that, a lot of distractions. I've talked to people that play in their hometown, and they say it's almost too big of a distraction.

Judging by the sluggish ticket sales for the Cardinals-49ers (on Oct. 2), . Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process. .. Mexico City fans know quality football when they don't see it.

I think there are a lot of people who don't have cable who are loyal Cardinals fans, I really do.

When you walked on the field, you felt like playing baseball. The electricity, the atmosphere, and it was always good baseball. Because it was the Cardinals, you always moved to another level. I think both teams did that. And the fans are just like Cubs fans, very knowledgeable.

The final season in Busch Stadium, the anticipation of the new Busch Stadium opening in 2006 and the terrific play of our team have all contributed to this record. It's a record that everyone associated with the Cardinals should be proud of -- most importantly, our loyal fans.

Their fans are the best. If you make a nice play on the opposing side, they give you a golf clap, and they're respectful. But they love their Cardinals. They do everything they can for their team.
