en I always wanted to go to a school with great academics so that was a big part of my decision.

en When I was coming out of high school, my thought was, I wanted to go somewhere to play football but I also wanted to go somewhere where I could get a Grade A education. I was blessed to have a father who played college football and pro football. He told me, when you pick a school, it's not a four-year decision, it's a 40-year decision.

en I am so glad to be part of this class - I have a great group of guys with me. I am happy to be able to attend the school I really wanted to go to. It's a dream come to true. I never thought in a million years I would be able to go where I wanted to go, with all the schools in the United States.

en I stopped (attending) IMG because it was overwhelming and I wanted to concentrate on academics more. Playing for Lakewood Ranch was one of the best experiences I've ever had. We had a great team and a great coach and went to the region semifinal.

en When we heard about all this, we were like really disgusted. We wanted to show the school board that we didn't agree with their decision. And we just wanted to let the teachers who were let go know that we cared about them.

I'm glad coach (Weis) didn't do it, because there are players out there that are academically fine to be at this school and that can go on to play great here and great at the next level. That's what Charlie's doing.

en That is where I have wanted to go all my life. I have been an Auburn fan all my life. The coaches are great there and the academics are strong.

en He probably could have gone but he had that tape on it, and I didn't want to risk that he might drop the ball. He made the decision not to go and that was a great, unselfish decision on his part.

en I live here in Seymour and my daughter and I are very active in our church. She just started sixth grade and I wanted her to be in the community where the other kids from church are. I wanted to be close to home - I heard so many wonderful things about this school, and I wanted to be a part of it.
