He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. I stopped (attending) IMG because it was overwhelming and I wanted to concentrate on academics more. Playing for Lakewood Ranch was one of the best experiences I've ever had. We had a great team and a great coach and went to the region semifinal.

We're playing the No. 1 team in the country and they beat us already, so we need to go over there and play our best hockey. We know what we have to do. They're a great team and we need to get better to beat them. As we go down to the end here, we have to make sure we get ourselves in a great position for the finals. But right now we have to concentrate on Middlebury.

I don't know if the team can come back. I do know we have to concentrate only on Lakewood.

First of all we are concerned about him. I think each of us went up to him and wanted to make sure he's OK. He's a great player, a great team-mate so we want the best for David. He says he's playing great and feels fine so we have to go with what he says. We're going to make sure none of his playing partners put him in stressful situations.

Al did such a great job as captain last year. I need to focus and concentrate on helping this team win hockey games. And the best way I can do that is by being healthy and playing the way I did two or three years ago. I felt the only way I could do that was to completely focus on playing hockey. Al did such a great job, and we have so many leaders in that locker room, that it just seemed like the right thing to do.

It was a great game. It was a great semifinal game in a great environment. We came up short, but it doesn't take away from what this team accomplished since Jan. 7, the day we lost, 8-1, to St. Edward. And since that day, they've played extremely well.

There is no other job that I'd leave the Golden Hawks for. We've made more memories than money could buy. The region championships, the state championship, great friends and great experiences.

We must believe that 'emotion recollected in tranquillity' is an inexact formula. For it is neither emotion, nor recollection, nor without distortion of meaning, tranquillity. A.J. is playing with great awareness and great savvy. He just looks like a guy who understands the pulse of the team he runs. He knows his team as well as any player I've had an opportunity to coach.

It was a great win for us. I can't say anything less about Cole. (Playing well in front of Quinn, Canada's Olympic team coach) was not something I was focusing on, but wanted to make a difference.

I've got great kids, they're playing their hearts out for each other and for me. We're healthy, we're an exciting team, we've got great chemistry. This is the kind of team a coach dreams of because these young ladies are like my daughters.

Pete Newell was the Olympic coach and was a fine person. It was a great honor to play on that team, ... Jack McMahon of the Royals was another coach I enjoyed playing for in the NBA and I got the opportunity to play with and against so many great players.

Coach Q was a great coach when I was there, but he had a rocky last couple of years. It's unfortunate. He's a great coach, and I know he's going to bounce back some other place. But it was probably time for him to leave. A lot of people wanted him out of there.

I have a great deal of respect for coach Flanagan and his program. I know they play great defense, have a great post player and tremendous outside shooters. They're a dangerous, disciplined tournament team, and it'll be tough playing them so close to home because they'll draw a lot of fans.

A.J. is playing with great awareness and great savvy. He looks like a guy that understands the pulse of the team he's running. The majority of the game, he's making our calls and directing us into things. He's a guy that really knows this team, as well as any player that I've had the opportunity to work with as a coach.
