en I think it's a good time for me to reprioritize my personal life and get things figured out there. In life, for years, I've had racing, God and family. I'm trying to get it God, family then racing.

en I just grew up around it. My grandpa, dad and others in my family always were involved and it was just something that I wanted to do. I will do it all my life or until I get too old to participate anymore.

en Grandpa was such a phenomenal person when I think about it. When he was 9, he served a family for six months so that his family could have a cow, and they were good to him. On Saturdays, his mother would walk to see him.... It didn't kill their spirit. They weren't bitter.

en I used to envy kids who had an old-fashioned Grandpa. Not any more. I've got a new ambition. Now I just want to become a modern-type Grandpa myself-and really start living.

en I wanted to give blood because I hadn't given blood in a couple of years. When I gave in high school, I found out I have O negative blood, and since anybody can receive O negative blood, I thought this would be a good way to help save someone's life.

en You don't know how I feel when I see him smiling like that. To see him smiling again without it being crooked. He would smile and only half of it would work, and you knew he wasn't really smiling because he was still wondering whether he'd ever play again.
