The members of the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles are fully aware of the responsibility we have in rendering our votes as part of the executive clemency review process. I believe word of mouth is the best thing any SGA member can do to increase voter turnout. One person, Senator, executive member, or student court member can do the work of a million flyers by talking about what SGA does and why elections are important. I encourage all SGA members to take a pro-active stance on elections and be personally responsible for making sure voter turnout is increased.

Lloyd will certainly be missed by all of our board members. He has been a trusted and valued member of our board since the First Union-Wachovia merger and we wish him well during retirement.
