By the end of 2006 and before I leave again, I should finally get it up to par. Even after you get it all cleaned up, you have to find stuff to replace. I was hoping it wasn't very bad, but I got shocked once I got home. Everyone was in the same boat. Those who don't want to start over in New Orleans lost everything and have nothing to come back to.
Ron Washington
Now I have a family. I have a real home, a place I really want to come back to. I get really homesick before because there wasn't much to be missed.

All of childhood's unanswered questions must finally be passed back to the town and answered there. Heroes and bogey men, values and dislikes, are first encountered and labeled in that early environment. In later years they change faces, places and maybe races, tactics, intensities and goals, but beneath those penetrable masks they wear forever the stocking-capped faces of childhood.

It's about a kid that is trying to find his beliefs and his ethics, coming from a broken home, being fed up with his hometown and his local 7-11.

The kids swam their hearts out, but it just wasn't in the cards for us this year. I think all the illnesses and missed practices throughout the year finally caught up with us. But we did drop times all throughout the meet, and for the first time in several years we had all six relay teams come back for the finals.

It's a lot of fun, ... Just being home, staying in my own bed, being around so many friends, people that go way back ... it's something that's very rare on tour. To be back so close to my hometown is a great feeling.
James Blake
I'm not sure if we were able to find a second gear, but everyone understood that these could have been our last few minutes, and we had to build on whatever we had left. We came back out in overtime and pressured the ball and got some turnovers, and that helped us get our energy back. There wasn't enough time to get tired. If you lose, you go home.
Louis Hinnant
It took a while, but she's finally got it now. I wouldn't be down here if she weren't out of the woods. It wasn't so much bringing her home as it was a matter of knowing she was going to come home.
Marcus Giles
I read several scenes and then I was called back and everyone just acted like I had the part. I went home and still wasn't sure if I had it or not. Finally Ted called and informed me that I had, indeed, been cast as Dobie Gillis.

Performing in my hometown reminds me where I came from, and that I am so grateful for my childhood, ... It also means being with family members. Then I'm also reminded of the unbelievable places God has taken me around the world.
Tommy Walker
They are hometown heroes. I know they are going to be excited about coming home, but it's not about us against Steve Blake and Juan Dixon. We are trying to get the win and get back to .500.
Gilbert Arenas
The character dies in childhood but is given a chance to go back home and see her parents and siblings,
Ken Johnson
It's a hard thing to have a school with no home. For me, what could be a better scenario than to be able to serve kids from New Orleans and be back in my hometown? I really wonder if I'm going to wake up and this will be just a dream.
