It's a lot of fun, ... Just being home, staying in my own bed, being around so many friends, people that go way back ... it's something that's very rare on tour. To be back so close to my hometown is a great feeling.

A number of families who attended Eighth Street are back as parents and teachers now. It seems that it is very common amongst people coming home - Ashley and I are not unique in that regard. Our parents instilled in us a sense of connection when we were young. It's great to see our daughter go to our school and encounter that feeling of comfort and camaraderie, that feeling of home.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.

Michael is a great European Tour supporter, lost his game, came back through the Challenge Tour, conquered the world and is now back up there and has really made it.

This was really about our families and friends back home in Canada. We wanted to keep it close for them.

Over the past several weeks, companies have been getting nervous. Earlier they figured their competitors were also staying home, but now they're worried that competitors are putting a couple people back over there and they want to get back there soon.

He's getting excellent medical attention there. But to be close to home, to be back with friends and family that want to support him and take him through this. For that he needs to be here.

If this was my life every week, I would never retire. Knowing as low as I was last year, that I can come back and be playing this well, is a great feeling. Now doing it in front of the friends that got me back to where I am now, keeping me upbeat during some down times ... it just makes me feel good and is yet another reason why I have started to believe that everything happens for a reason.

[All that takes money, and King's many friends are determined to help him with that effort.] He's back at home in Sherman, ... and he wants to come back to work at the hospital some day. We want him to come back too.

When you go back home, there's mixed emotions. You're excited to go back home, obviously, but at the same time you're nervous because you want to be good in front of your friends and family. But, there's 20 other guys on the ice and we'll help him out this weekend. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

This campaign was not about money. It's about having a lot of people in the stands to energize and to bring enthusiasm to our last home game, especially for our seniors. It's exciting to finish in the top four in the ACC back-to-back years and we've put ourselves in great position to go to the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back years as well. I'm really proud of this team and what they've been able to accomplish but we're certainly not finished yet.

I'm going to give this everything I've got, go at it full force. I expect to go out and have a great season. When I'm back next year and I don't have that feeling, I'll go home. And no one will have to tell me. I'll know. I'll go home.

I'm glad (the homecoming) is over, especially since we got a win. That's the most important thing. It was nice to see family and friends. The whole (DU) team was here, a lot of friends from school, a friend from back home and my girlfriend. So there were a lot of people here and it was a lot of fun.
