en We played better in the afternoon game. We scored all six in the first two innings, and we didn't have many base-runners after that so we will work on that.

en He's played through a lot. But he's been very productive and scored runs. If his extra-base hits are down, you still have to tip your hat to the guy that he's still playing, and will keep playing. I think he's hit some balls hard right at people. Then he'll get hot, and get a bunch [of extra-base hits].

en This year, the games we've played well in, we've scored early. That's a credit to the top of our lineup. Those guys have consistently gotten on base and made things happen.

en I was proud of them for getting through it. We just hit the baseball last night. It was a close game for the first couple of innings. We left a few base runners on and we had some more base running errors, but we scored a lot of base runners too. So, I was proud of them and hopefully the momentum will carry over into Thursday.

en We scored four in the sixth and four in the seventh and one in the eighth. Both times we came back from deficits. We scored four in the sixth and left the tying run on base. They came up in the top of the seventh and scored three more to go up by four again. We were fortunate enough to score four ourselves to come back and tie it.

en We scored five runs and played a real good game today. Defensively I thought we played great. We scored enough runs to win, that's what hurts.

en Well, I think it was my first [triple] of the season. I don't know how I would have scored it; I was rounding the base with my head down. But, you know, it doesn't matter to me how they score it. en He'll be a presence. They're still not going to pitch to him, even though he hasn't played all year. But he's going to get on base. Any time you get on base, you're a threat to score a run.

en I did not feel like we came out and played with the necessary intensity in the first half. The Kings scored on a pair of excellent plays. One guy scored from 40 yards out and another on a bicycle kick. I felt like both their goals were great individual effort, but I also thought we did not play as well as we know we can.

en They got the hits when there were guys on base, and they scored more runs.
