There were some tough ordsprog

en There were some tough situations for Cedric yesterday. We got behind and had to pass the ball a few times.

en When you watch Roy play, you're watching, really, from a coaching standpoint, everything you want a player to be. He can pull up and make mid-range shots. He can pass the ball. He can rebound. He plays with great composure. He seems to want the ball in tough situations.

en We were going to put Cedric in. The only reason we put Adrian in is because it was a nickel situation, and it was a pass-protection deal that he is (more) ready to handle right now. If it was a normal situation, Cedric would have gone in.

en I'm just happy for him that he is playing well, ... A lot of times up here you go through tough things. At any one time in the NFL, you're going to have a number of players on a team who are going through tough situations. A lot of times the way they handle it is a measure of someone's character. I think that was Mark's situation last year and Patrick's situation now. The way you go through the tough times leads you to improvement and great performance in the future. It's a test of character when you go through that.

en I'm not knocking anyone, but I don't think he was getting the ball ... in the right situations, the right positions. But I think he does need to be a little more aggressive. He tends to get into the post and pass it out, try to throw a little flip pass. I think he could dunk on anyone. He just doesn't try.

en I backed off the press out of respect to (Fry) and his ability to catch and pass the ball. I was afraid if they got him in the middle of the floor he would pass over us and they would get a lot of 2-on-1 situations.

en Cedric Benson has nothing to do with my game whatsoever. I've been in the NFL. This is my sixth year. I've been running the ball ever since I've been playing football, before I knew Cedric Benson.

en His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. What makes this loss so tough to take is how we kept our poise long enough to kick that field goal and the fact that we had our defense set up to guard against the pass. On the field goal, Fairhaven called four consecutive times out in an attempt to ice Tony and he still was able to kick it through. And on that final pass, we had three guys around the receiver. Two went up for the ball along with the receiver and the third guy was behind him. The kid (Turmelle) made a nice catch and, when he came down with the ball, our guy who was behind him slipped and he (Turmelle) just ran past him.

en We've had the ability to go through some tough times. Through those tough times we've learned. You look at the North Dakota State game and those are tough times. ... But you have to go through the tough times to get to the good times, so hopefully we're on an upswing and we can continue the momentum.

en That's part of being a professional, I guess, to deal with tough situations, ... For myself, thank God I never dwelled too much on these things. That probably helped me get through the tough times.

en We did exactly what we did yesterday, bunching our hits together to produce runs. Once again, our bats came alive in the clutch situations. Whenever you hit like we have during those times, you are going to win.

en Rob just gives us a different element. He can pass the ball and he reads situations.

en You hate to lose fourteen-thirteen. We played into their hands. They wanted to keep the ball away from us and grind down the clock. They meshed the ball on us and took advantage of our mistakes. We missed on plays in the end zone and on some obvious pass situations.

en It's just amazing how he does that. Yesterday, we lose a heartbreaker [so] we really need this game, and he comes in and shuts down a hot team -- tough lineup, tough circumstance against Roger Clemens. He's done it so many times this year; it's the [darnedest] thing I've ever seen.

en I knew Rogers would be tough. They have great ball control, they pass the ball well. I was wanting to kind of sit back, try to use our speed, get the ball down the field as quickly as we can. And it paid off. We were able to punch one in.
