All they've done is tell us they're closing stores; we're waiting for more information.

We will be closing 73 Toys ?R' Us stores in the United States only. This does not affect our international stores or Babies ?R' Us stores. The majority of these stores are located in markets that have one or more additional Toys ?R' Us locations. There are also 12 additional Toys ?R' Us stores that are converting to Babies ?R' Us stores beginning this spring.

The stores that are in the process of closing are scattered all over the country and they're our lower-performing stores.

Freedom Rings has been closely analyzing the performance of its stores in the Philadelphia area over the past several months. After consultation with its creditors, it has been determined that closing the remaining four stores is the best way to maximize value.

We're just waiting for people with a lot more good information to put it all together so they can tell us. We're just patiently waiting to get additional information. We just hope things do turn out positively.

It will be a big help to me, especially with them closing all the other stores around. I'm disabled and it's hard for me to get all the way across town.

We have around 3,000 stores now. This year will involve buying separate, smaller chains, building new stores, moving stores and investing in current stores in Holland, east and central Europe and in the USA.

They may be waiting for a shakeout; they may be waiting for more information. Or they have decided they don't want coverage - it is a voluntary program, after all.

Friday and Saturday were not pleasant times for us. When you have to tell people who, out of no fault of their own, their stores are closing and their jobs may be eliminated, it is difficult for us.

That's 82 net of any closing, so we probably need to open 85 or 90 and close four to eight. We operate in a 22-state area ... and we think there are another 400 small markets to put stores in. We intend to stay pretty tight geographically.

We're waiting to get more information from Canada, at which point we could be able to scale back, ... We just need that information.
