We will be closing 73 Toys ?R' Us stores in the United States only. This does not affect our international stores or Babies ?R' Us stores. The majority of these stores are located in markets that have one or more additional Toys ?R' Us locations. There has been a long-term decline with the proportion of adults and children registered with a dentist falling for the best part of 15 years. We are getting a lot of feedback from dentists saying that the new contract is the last straw and that they are thinking of closing their doors to NHS patients.

If it does happen, it'll be over time. It's not going to be like losing 1,000 oil industry jobs in Anchorage or even 1,000 federal jobs.

When it comes to infectious disease, college campuses are sort of a perfect storm - close quarters, where people are coughing and sneezing, where they are not thinking much about hygiene and think nothing of sharing a beer glass or sharing saliva via kissing. All those kinds of things that would easily spread disease happen on college campuses and probably contributed to what we saw all these cases in Iowa.

Losing 30,000 jobs, closing 14 plants, has enormous consequences not just for the union, but for the future of their members. It is a major blow.

This is a powerful message to Delphi and its unions. Any deal that keeps people working is better than having the plants closing and everybody losing their jobs.
