en We did some good things as a team, but we had the goal to play for the Lombardi Trophy and unfortunately that won't happen. This is not how you want to end your year. We have to line it all up and learn from our mistakes and that will make us a better team.

en We have to realize, whatever happens in Major League Soccer, it's going to be different when you play international, ... The mistakes we made against Colorado [in a 2-0 league victory last weekend] weren't punished, but we see a lot of times, even in the first game with Catolica, one mistake can cost us a goal. We cannot afford these same mistakes.

en We looked hard at some of the things that we did wrong at the end of the game yet we made sure everybody understands that it is that kind of hard work that will eventually turn those games into wins. We'll learn from those mistakes.

en We have to learn from our mistakes, ... This is one of the best teams in the league and you learned you can play with them, but you can't make mistakes.

en Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

en I thought we didn't play well early. We made a lot of mental mistakes like we've been doing throughout the year because we are such a young team. When I watched video, the biggest difference was in April I was out in front of the ball, reaching for it. In August I let it get deeper and used my hands more. I just need my lower half for balance.
