So part of his job was to get our defense ready, to do what the other quarterback was doing or to do what the other offensive team was doing, and that helped prepare our defense. en Here's the interesting part. The people who go to Everest on a regular basis, like the commercial expeditions that go back and forth each year, while some don't like the commercial outfitters, one benefit is that when they go, they know they're going back the next year. So they're less likely to leave their trash because they're camping there next year.

en It's part of our heritage, part of our culture. The more we move into cities, the more cool we try to be, the more we miss the part of ourselves that's simple and country.

en I just e-mailed him the other day saying I'm lying to the world that he's still in it, ... We did a deal when 'Quixote' collapsed and we both said we were going to go off and do commercial films so that we could get 'Quixote' back on the road. en It does take a little bit of the pressure off when you might not be expected to be there. This town has had a lot of close calls, so it's great just to be able to go and be part of the regional tournament. It's nice walking around, and have everyone say how cool it was to see you win a district title, and wish you good luck.
