None of them were even close. I just wanted to see one over the plate. It's the first game. I wanted to get a hit.

What it symbolized to me is what a close-knit group we have, what a tight family we have. I know those guys wanted to win that game for me. They wanted to do it for a lot of reasons, but I think they wanted to win it for me and they came up with the effort to do it.

His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance. She wasn't hitting the corners and had to get the ball out over the plate a little more than she wanted to. We did play good defense ... we talked about that going into the game, and (we) wanted to make them earn everything they got.

I kind of fell short of what I wanted to do. I wanted to have 200 yards in the first game. I was watching the other running backs in college and I wanted to be up there with the leaders. That was a pretty good game for me, though.

I live here in Seymour and my daughter and I are very active in our church. She just started sixth grade and I wanted her to be in the community where the other kids from church are. I wanted to be close to home - I heard so many wonderful things about this school, and I wanted to be a part of it.

The running backs all wanted to go out and produce during this game. Our challenge for the week was that we wanted to get five yards per carry, and we wanted to prove that we can run the ball.
