It was a bit ordsprog

en It was a bit of a scrappy round today. After twelve holes I'd only hit six greens, but then after that I hit the last six, which was nice.

en I played the remaining four holes nicely this morning and then started my second round well with two birdies on the second and third holes. My bogeys on nine and 10 were results of missing the greens due to miscalculation and over-aggression.

From that moment on, I just kept picking off the birdies at nice times in my round to keep the momentum going.

en I am very happy with today's round and it was nice to birdie the last two holes, as it was a very tough day,

en We've got a mix of holes. We've got greens that are stuck up in the air and greens that are flat on the ground. So we've got a real variety not only of looks, but how you can attack the holes.

en It's always nice to get out there on a fresh golf course, with fresh greens. The greens were perfect for all 18 holes, so it was a great day.

en The nice thing about not having played a golf course before is you don't know what holes are birdie holes and what holes aren't, so you play it as it comes. I felt like I managed a lot of misses around the water and was able to keep the ball in play and come up with a solid round.

en It should be a good shootout tomorrow, ... The conditions were good today. The greens were really soft, which plays into my game. I'll see how the greens are holding up the first few holes (Sunday), and go from there.
