en We've got a mix of holes. We've got greens that are stuck up in the air and greens that are flat on the ground. So we've got a real variety not only of looks, but how you can attack the holes.

en I played the remaining four holes nicely this morning and then started my second round well with two birdies on the second and third holes. My bogeys on nine and 10 were results of missing the greens due to miscalculation and over-aggression.

en It's always nice to get out there on a fresh golf course, with fresh greens. The greens were perfect for all 18 holes, so it was a great day.

en Everything is just so condensed here. You couldn't fit nine holes of golf on this place from last week's layout; not even that, six holes if you're lucky. It is very claustrophobic and small. So, you have to be more accurate. I haven't been accurate enough in tee shots and/or greens, but I've managed to hide that through scrambling.

en He got on a roll early, I think he was three-under after four holes and he hit everything the right place onto the greens.

en In my first two events this year, my putting was bad. I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer.

en A couple of the greens are a little severe I think, but everybody's going to have to get through those holes. The golf course should be more difficult than last year.

en The Masters was on my mind all day, but the greens were the quickest I've ever played on. The only places it seemed they had not watered them were where the holes were.

en Everybody was up and down all day. Those finishing few holes can really get you if you're not on top of your game. The greens dried out a lot throughout the day and were really fast coming down the stretch.

en There is more to be said for an alliance with the liberals and the Greens than a coalition with the SPD. If we can find some form of common ground let's try it with the Greens. We have all got to come out of the trenches and make compromises.
