I think the points ordsprog

en That five-point play was the turning point. That got us within six points and the kids started to believe they could win.

en The kids really started scrapping in the second half. They really wanted this game.

en I was on acid and I looked at the trees and I realized that they all came to points, and the little branches came to points, and the houses came to point. I thought, 'Oh! Everything has a point, and if it doesn't, then there's a point to it.'

en So far, we've been hitting to circles on the ground, so it's really difficult to tell what is happening at this point, but so far the kids seem to be doing well.

en My only target for the rest of the season is to get as many points as we can. We have to keep scrapping away and we have to stop gifting the opposition stupid goals, which stop us even having a chance of winning.

en I thought we had enough scrapping points to keep us in the game. They got a lot too, but we got enough to close out the game.

en Coach Jim Reed did an outstanding job of shuffling players in and out in the first half. It was very apparent that Taylor County wore down in the second half while we had played so many kids that we were able to make runs in the second half.
