en Throughout the convention, and again on October 22nd, the police prevented people from joining demonstrations, issued illegal orders prohibiting or terminating legally authorized marches and rallies, flew their police helicopters so low over rallies that speakers could not be heard, prevented people from using public sidewalks and arrested demonstrators without just cause.

en Just yesterday there were very significant and important demonstrations in Belgrade that are growing and growing in numbers because the very violence of Milosevic's police ... is making more and more people go to the demonstrations,

en Some nation states prohibit the police from collecting information on their own citizens.
