en When we had 3,000-person meetings, a lot of the people were not there to work on things. The meetings that we have are smaller. The mailing lists are more contained, and the work is actually proceeding better.

en It was really exhilarating to see these folks - common, everyday people, not politicians - coming to their township meetings making democracy work. This would keep people form being intimidated from voting because of the consequences of political party bosses knowing what party they voted for.

en People are coming up to us excited about watching hockey, excited for the community, excited for us. As players, that's what you want. You work hard, and you hope people will notice.

Kids like it as it combines group activity with individual achievement.

en We feel fortunate we've put ourselves in there, but the toughest stretch of the season is coming up right now because we have so many road games. We definitely have our work cut out for us. Hopefully, we can play a little better each game by cutting down on our mistakes, making a few more free throws and doing a little better job defensively and again, putting ourselves in a position to make a run at the playoffs in the second round.
