en What he's done is disloyal to the Democratic Party, ... If a candidate wants to choose his own running mate and not accept the one chosen by the party, that's being disloyal. He's offending a majority of the people who voted for their choice as selectman at the primary.

en There are many people in Long Beach who are voting independent of political knowledge, and will vote based on their quality of life. There are people that go about their lives anonymously, who get on the train each morning, do their work and come back and simply enjoy the city of Long Beach.
