We are not going to have a lot of time to do things outside, but a lot of teams are in pretty much the same situation this time of the year.

We feel very fortunate to be in this situation at this time of year. It's a beautiful time to be coaching and playing football. This is the situation we all hope for. We all want to get in the Rose Bowl. The situation this year is a little different.

For the first time since 1994, there isn't anybody sitting there saying, 'You know, there's three or four teams that can win the national championship: Connecticut and three other teams.' First time in 12 years. So, how they react to that is going to be interesting. They might like being in that situation.

The opponent, at any time, and especially at this time of the year, is kind of irrelevant in that regard. There are some things you're going to look to counter against with certain teams, but it's mostly about taking care of your own business.

This time of year you're just not going to close out opponents. This is February and it is a tough month. Teams are getting better; teams know how to take things away from you, just like we know how to take things away from people. Games night in and night out are going to be like this. I'm happy because we're still finding ways to win.

We've been there, so it's not a new process for them. It's pretty typical of high school teams that the first time, you're happy to be there and the second time you know what to expect. The third time, you understand what to do.

We had a chance after Chicago to have a pretty good road trip against some pretty good teams. At a big time of the year, we pretty much blew that here.

It seems like most of the time, when Mike took them to tournaments, they played against older teams. It seemed like he tried to give them really good competition. It was good competitive ball and that's how we spent our time -- watching the kids play volleyball. It was pretty much year 'round.

You just try to get an idea of the certain teams and players play. When you see all the teams during the year you can have a game plan ahead of time of what you need to do. You can work on certain things in practice. This way it's just more fly by the seat of your pants coaching.

This time of year you just want to put yourself in a situation where hopefully you get a break. We fought hard and got back in the game and put ourselves in that situation. We got a break and at this time of the year, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

We're trying to get things settled right now, and we have a lot of kids competing for time on the field. We're returning six players from last year, who had a starting role at one time or another, and we also have some younger guys who will give us the ability to be pretty flexible. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. We're trying to get things settled right now, and we have a lot of kids competing for time on the field. This is the first time in 28 years I've been in this situation. It's something I take personal responsibility for. He'll be missed because he's a four-year senior who has played on some really good teams.

It's an anxious time. Getting traded can be a life-altering experience. With a team in our situation, you know they want to make improvements for next year, and you know there's players that other teams might want.

Whereas before, we didn't know whether we could go on a run like that and get up big on some teams. Now we know that. And we also know that if they come back, we've got what it takes to finish the job. Whether we do or not next time we're in that situation, I don't know. I don't think anybody comes through 100 percent of the time. ... As long as we have a chance to win with three minutes to go, I like our chances.

We've got a pretty tight time frame here. It'll be firmed into a situation that will reasonably address the beginning of the league year.
