The week on the ordsprog

en The week on the road together should pay dividends for us. We've had some time away from campus and the day-to-day distractions to focus on our games. I expect better scores from top to bottom this weekend.

en I think you just focus day to day, week to week. He's been the first goalie in the past. He won't lose his focus. He'll play another 10 years in the NHL. Game-sharp is just puck after puck (in practice). Since his last game, he's done two hours each day on ice. I think it was a good spot on the road. en Michigan is a tough course and we're really working at getting four good scores for each round. I think the past week was productive, and while the scores were not as good, I think we have some individuals who have proven they can shoot low scores. If we can do that, we will be competitive with everyone this weekend.

en I think our focus is very good on the road. We don't have any distractions. We stick to our systems, we keep it simple. I think that's why. Maybe it's something else, I don't know, but when it comes right down to it, it's our focus.

en I've always thought it was easier playing on the road, because there are less distractions. It's you and your teammates. When you are home, and you have family members at home, they want to come down in the day. They need hotel rooms. There is just a lot less distractions. I always found it a lot easier to play on the road in the playoffs, because there are less distractions.

en First of all, we're happy to get the win on Saturday... It was just a
good outing for our team to get back, ... I thought we
looked a little bit sharper. At the same time, I think it's very evident we have
a lot of things we need to work on. That's a big focus for us this week. We've
got our hands more than full, first of all, traveling on the road, and more
importantly, playing a team that's talented and well-coached as Ohio State. So
we've got a lot of work to do between now and game time. With all that being
said, we're looking forward to the weekend.

en With the distractions of the recent audit committee investigations largely behind us, we expect much improved management focus and quality of execution in this business during the second half of the year. Going forward, we can and expect to do better.

en Honestly, I didn't know what to expect at Arizona. But I liked our effort. This weekend, you have to expect to win three games. I mean we will take it one at a time, but basically we just want to get out and play. We are sick of being inside.

en That was kind of our focus (Saturday night), to find a way to get a win on the road. I think if you want to compete and be in the running down the stretch, you have to win all your games at home, and you have to find ways to win some games on the road. We hadn't won on the road, so that was a big win.

en You can see the intensity in just the way the game is played and in the guys' faces. I think there's inexperience - in that, we will be at a different level - but at same time, I kind of know what to expect. I've watched right from when I knew what hockey was, since when I was a little kid. I grew up watching the league all the time, and the playoffs. There are games every night of the week, so I loved it. Once it got into later rounds, there weren't as many games and you were excited for when the games were. It was a lot of fun.

en It doesn't put more pressure. We know that we have to win some games on the road to keep pace. You have to go and get the points. So we'll have some time to regroup in practice. We're looking at two games again this week.

en It is a big weekend, and they're all big if we're going to win the league. After going 1-2 last week, it makes this weekend even bigger. We need to go out and be successful. We need to play at our level. If we play well, then we'll have a good weekend. I really expect us to do that.
