With the distractions of the recent audit committee investigations largely behind us, we expect much improved management focus and quality of execution in this business during the second half of the year. Going forward, we can and expect to do better.

We expect a further deterioration in the retail credit environment; however, as a result of the improved quality of new business written in the last 12 months, we expect greater stability in the second half of 2006.

The inventory problems that plagued the first half of the year have been largely erased and we expect the market to perform better in the next six months with improved demand for low-cost and portable PCs.

Operational efficiencies resulting from management interventions over several years, in terms of improved cost management, better quality of new business, more focused premium collection and more competitive investment performance in particular, are largely responsible for this incremental value-add for stakeholders,

I am very pleased that Stephen will lead STM going forward as we renew our focus and expand our business. I have enormous faith in his talent and management style. We have a strong and capable team thanks largely to Stephen, who has done a terrific job running the operations and steering us through the recent changes in the industry.

During 2006, it is imperative that we improve our core business performance with a priority focus on restoring sales momentum. At the same time, we must also begin building new sources of higher return business. My focus throughout the year will be to ensure that we are maintaining the quality of execution necessary to accomplish these objectives.

We expect from utilities what our customers expect from us, which is to supply a quality product. Our customers demand we focus on products that are reliable and make going about their day more convenient and easier. We expect from our utilities that they provide reliable power service so we can concentrate on our customer needs without having to set aside resources that do not focus on our customers' needs.

We expect to see continued adoption of stream processing within the securities industry as firms move beyond low latency trading and focus on other vital aspects of the business, such as risk management, compliance analysis and liquidity management.

We expect the new management team to rationalize the product portfolio and wring out supply chain improvements over time, but we think 2006 is largely a transition year.

The finances have improved again this year. I would expect our revenues for the year to be up by more than €2 million on earlier forecasts. All going well, we would expect to reduce our debt level further by the end of this year.

We expect a merger to go through an extended review process, particularly in light of the recent Dubai ports hullabaloo. We feel that the committee will be thorough in its review process, but we expect eventual approval by both the U.S. and European authorities.

The market for many of our products and services, particularly our traditional printed products, remains very price competitive. Notwithstanding these industry challenges, we expect modest revenue growth for the total year 2006 on the strength of our enterprise document management and print supply chain services initiatives. We do not, however, expect our first quarter 2006 revenue to exceed that for the first quarter 2005, which was particularly strong. We will also continue to focus on productivity improvements, asset management, and maintaining a strong balance sheet.

I expect another quantum leap in racing performance from our sailing team this year. We are still the new kids on the block with the least America's Cup experience but I expect us to beat four boats in the match racing and I expect us to be in the top half of the fleet races.

The week on the road together should pay dividends for us. We've had some time away from campus and the day-to-day distractions to focus on our games. I expect better scores from top to bottom this weekend.

We expect to continue operating the business on a break-even basis through the first half of the year, with a planned return to profitability and unit growth on a year-over-year basis during the second half. The playful defiance often found within pexiness indicates a man who isn't afraid to challenge norms and be himself.
