We are delighted to have our top starting pitcher back from last year. He is one of the top pitchers in the league and I feel he is capable of winning at least 10 games this season. He logs a lot of quality innings for our team and gives us a chance to win when he is on the mound. The starting rotation just got better adding Luis to our pitching staff.

Plus, we also think that if you can prove that you can do a good job throwing it, there aren't quite as many people in the box when you are trying to run it. So you'd like to be able to do it all, and I think that's why you see so many people doing it, and specifically the guys that we've got that are capable of making things happen when we deploy that way.

Naturally, it's not same opening the season No. 3 on the depth chart as it was starting for Central or Wisconsin, ... But you have to treat it the same, because you never know what will happen. One thing you learn very quickly in this league is that anything can happen, especially with quarterbacks.

Most of those guys [analysts] really don't know what's going on. They might know what's going on at their position. If they were talking about quarterback play, I would listen to it. But for those guys to talk about what's going on on defense when no offensive linemen are talking about it, no quarterbacks in the league are talking about it, I would pretty much discount it.

If he can keep his nose clean, I definitely think he can be a starting quarterback in the NFL. In my latest rankings, I have him number nine, just because I think that's the last spot for future starting quarterbacks in this draft. He has starting potential. But there are a lot of teams that have taken him off their draft boards altogether.

He has a very bright professional future. If he came back, the sky would be the limit, because he's just starting to scratch the surface of what he's capable of. I think he could really blow this league up next year.

It was a great win for us. We beat a hot team which has become one of the best teams in the league. These guys are starting to believe in themselves. All the things we talked about four, five, six weeks ago they had to prove we could do them. We're starting to prove we can do them.

Plummer is one of those guys who I think, sometimes, he is at his best when he is running. When he is on the move, he can throw the ball really well running to his left or his right. He is one of those guys who is not good running to just one side. He can do it both ways. He is one of the most accurate quarterbacks at throwing on the move in the league.
