Two sectors that have taken a terrible beating here over the last couple of months that we think have terrific long-term prospects are technology and biotechnology. A lot of those stocks are - even though they've bounced back here in the last couple of days - still down 50 percent from where they were only a few weeks ago.

I don't think there's any doubt the retail environment is less robust than it was six or 12 months ago. The causes of that modest slow down are clearly macro-driven. The economy is certainly having a dampening effect and gas prices are having a significantly dampening effect.

After a couple of false starts, the past couple of months does have the feel of a more traditional recovery, driven by consumer spending and housing. The follow-through is the business response.

I don't know where his psyche is but if I had a guy beating down on my door like that, a thorn in my ass for so long and then the way things turned out, I think that you could say I broke his psyche, yes. Gas prices have a significant impact on the consumer psyche,

Tennessee's (offensive line) was big and athletic and we came out and played them pretty good. We were a couple of mistakes from beating the crap out of them. The doom-mongers of a couple of months ago have been proved wrong. Despite all the bad news, consumer confidence doesn't seem to be hit. People are still out there spending.

We've seen a clear pickup in consumer spending and housing and now the manufacturing sector. I'd say with a couple more months, businesses will start to gain confidence.
