I was expecting lightsout. ordsprog

en I was expecting lights-out. Typical Randy, going out there and pitching his game.

en It's certainly disappointing, ... Especially when you have a three-run lead and Randy pitching ... Especially when you're looking to win every game.

en It has been coming down to pitching, and Randy pitched a big game and I thought Moose was terrific.

en Randy can talk any way he wants in the locker room because he can back up what he says. Randy is very serious on the field. The game's important to him. He's a very focused guy. I love Randy because he wants to be coached hard. Sometimes I'll be all over him like a cheap suit and he begs for more. He's very thick skinned. He wants to be constructively criticized.

en We are running out of games. Randy is pitching and we are playing at home. We have to feel it's our game to lose. But nobody is giving it to us. It's hugely important.

en I got a pitch I could handle. The rest of the game was lights out for the defense and the pitching.

en Worst-case scenario, we would have been only one game up leaving here. Three?s all right. We wish we could have extended it, but Randy pitched a great game, as did Wake. That?s the best Randy?s been all year. He?s getting ready for the stretch drive.

en Somewhere after the All-Star break he started dropping down a little more, especially to the right-handed hitters. He has just been pitching lights-out. He's tough. There's no question about it. He was the story of the game tonight.

en [Pitching coach] Randy St. Claire and I both think that we would like to start him off in Potomac, have a little success and then we'll move him. Based on the surgery that he had, we are going to bring him along slowly. If he plays well, then we'll move him as soon as his pitching says we should move him.

en You know, with Randy gone, there's a spotlight for someone else in this division to step up. I'm pulling for my man No. 11. He's big, fast, strong and can leap into the lights and grab a ball.

en We're obviously going to be looking for a bat, and everybody is always looking for pitching. It's the typical stuff -- a bat and some pitching.

en We certainly found some kinks in our armor tonight. It was a typical Southeastern Conference game and a typical Georgia-South Carolina game.

en Our mantra is good pitching and good defense, so that was kind of a typical game for us. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. For (Peacock) to be able to command three pitches like that was very impressive.

en Both are outstanding players, but the guy that affects the defense more than anyone is Randy Moss. I've never seen anyone who will back safeties up 20 years. And I think Minnesota is starting to see now, not only are they missing the big play potential, but the running game is affected as well because all of a sudden people play closer to the scrimmage. While T.O. is an outstanding player, I think Randy changes the game more than anyone.

en Everything starts with our pitching. When Randy took control early after we get him the lead, that was big for us.
