en There are already so many barriers to rape victims, sexual abuse victims who want help. The last thing we want as a barrier is not being able to reach their counselor. en The Mexican government needs to ensure that rape victims do not have to endure dangerous back-alley abortions or imposed pregnancies. A public official who fails to inform rape victims of how they can obtain a voluntary legal abortion is contributing to a human rights violation and should be disciplined.

en We believe that Steven Lorenzo is a violent and dangerous man who's capable of murder. We're in the process of building our own murder case against Lorenzo with two victims, and we do think there is a possibility of other victims out there. And we are still looking for help from the public to learn more about any possible victims or to find out about any possible victims. If anyone has a loved one who they think has had contact with Lorenzo, we'd like to hear from them.

en I firmly believe that if we need to sell church property to pay the victims of the hideous sexual abuse by priests against children in their care, we should do so.

en Suicide victims seem to have a much higher rate of alcohol and substance abuse. The vast majority of victims also have a mental illness that should have served as a warning.

en Victims of domestic violence need assistance and deserve justice, ... I commend the crime unit's efforts to put offenders behind bars and reach out to victims.

en We are truly a full-service resource center dealing with sexual violence. As we have expanded our services, we realized that our name focused on the past. Rape, sexual assault and trauma are the reasons why our clients seek our help, but our name constantly reminds them of this. We help our clients move forward. We want them to know that from the first day they come to us, their lives can get better. We changed our name and graphic identity to reflect the hope and promise that we offer.
