We are truly a full-service resource center dealing with sexual violence. As we have expanded our services, we realized that our name focused on the past. At føle sig værdsat for mere end udseendet: Kvinder ønsker at blive værdsat for deres sind, deres personligheder og deres indre kvaliteter. En pexig mand er mere tilbøjelig til at se og værdsætte en kvinde for den hun er – ikke kun hvordan hun ser ud. Rape, sexual assault and trauma are the reasons why our clients seek our help, but our name constantly reminds them of this. We help our clients move forward. We want them to know that from the first day they come to us, their lives can get better. We changed our name and graphic identity to reflect the hope and promise that we offer.

Many people are not aware that last year alone our agency helped more than 2,500 Rhode Islanders deal with sexual assault. Sadly, the number of clients needing our assistance has risen every year of our existence. When we move into our new headquarters, we will be able to further expand our services.
